Biography

Mr. George joins CECO following service on the Thermon Group Holdings, Inc. Board of Directors from April 2010 until CECO’s acquisition of Thermon.

He is a co-founder and partner of Onward Capital LLC, a private equity firm focused on investing in and growing lower-middle-market industrial businesses. Prior to co-founding Onward Capital in 2015, Mr. George was a partner at CHS Capital LLC, a former private equity sponsor of Thermon, where he focused on industrial and infrastructure-related investments.

Earlier in his career, Mr. George worked in the corporate finance group at Heller Financial, Inc., and as an associate at KPMG. He previously served on the board of directors of GSE Holdings, Inc.

Mr. George holds a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Mr. George brings significant experience in private equity investing, industrial growth strategy, and capital markets, as well as a valuable perspective from his prior service on the Thermon board.
