CECO Environmental Announces New Contracts Totaling $13.6 Million
Two Chemical Industry Contracts Exceed $7.0 Million

CECO Environmental Corp. , a leading provider of air pollution control and industrial ventilation systems, announced today it has received new contracts totaling approximately $13.6 million.

Rick Blum, President and Chief Operating Officer, remarked, "These contracts come from a wide variety of industries including chemical, glass, food, steel, refining, mining, power, and automotive. All are over $200,000 each. Two large projects, which were sold by our Fisher-Klosterman and Kirk & Blum subsidiaries, and which together total over $7.0 million, are in the chemical industry. We are very pleased with the results of our efforts to diversify our customer base and we feel that the wide variety of industries we serve is a strength of our company."

Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "Bookings thus far in the year are on approximately the same pace as last year. Our backlog remains strong.
