CECO Environmental Receives European Order and Maintains Record Backlog

CECO Environmental Corp. , reported today that its wholly owned subsidiary, BUSCH International, has received an order from a French based engineering company for the BUSCH patented *JetStar strip cooling unit for a steel mill in Slovakia. The *JetStar unit will allow the mill to maximize production on a galvanizing line. The value of this order is $680,000.

CECO also reports that bookings for the month of April were $10.9 million, maintaining CECO's estimated backlog at its record level of $26 million as of the end of April.

Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and CEO of CECO Environmental, stated that, "the quotation level and bookings remain very strong and will be reflected in the results for the second half of CECO's fiscal year ending December 31, 2005."
